It’s Harder Breathing Next To You (Chapter 26) (Kellic)
I had some extra time on my hands, so here’s another chapter. Can’t update this again til like Wednesday night/Thursday morning cause I am busy and wanna write SSD. Oops sorry, bye. Xoxox
“This is a fake I.D” Vic said, handing me a small card. I looked at it and sure enough there was a picture of me on it and it said I was 21.
“Who in their right mind would believe that I’m 21?” I asked.
“Trust me, the people at this club don’t even care.” He assured me. I looked back at him with uncertainty.
It was Saturday night and Vic, Mike, Jaime, Tony, and I were all planning to go into the city and go clubbing. I was really wary though because like, this is illegal! Vic is 18, Tony and Jaime are 17 and Mike and I are only 16 years old. There was absolutely no way we’re getting into any clubs, but Vic thought otherwise. He says that they’ve all done it before and they’ve actually become friends with a lot of bouncers around the clubbing districts.
“Please, Kels.” He begged, looking down at me. I was sitting on his bed and he was standing in front of me. “It’ll be fun.” He rested his hands on my shoulders and pushed me down onto the bed and got on top of me, straddling me. He leant down and kissed me. His hand travelled down my chest and stomach before he lightly palmed the front of my jeans. My breathing hitched and my lips left his.
“Don’t do that.” I gasped as he continued to do it. “Th-the others are out there.” He smiled and stopped what he was doing. He held both of my hands instead and pinned them to the bed on each side of my head. He lowered his lips again but this time went to my neck, meaning he was trying to persuade me the best way he knows how.
“I booked us a hotel room.” He said, as he lightly nibbled on my neck.
“You what?” I snapped. Is he implying what I think he’s implying? Because I’m not ready for that, for sex. No. I’m just not. I mean, not yet. Sure, one day when we’re like, in love and shit then yeah. It sounds girly or whatever, but that kind of thing should be special and Vic knows that.
“Calm down. It’s just because we’ll probably be drunk and I’m not driving drunk with you in the car.” He said. He stopped his work on my neck and looked at me again. I kind of wished he’d keep kissing my neck.
“And you would drive if I wasn’t in the car?” I asked.
“Probably.” He shrugged. I frowned at him. The thought of him risking his life bothered me, a lot. I’ll have to talk some sense into him one day. “So? Will you come with us?” He asked.
“Fine.” I gave up because I didn’t want him to get into any trouble without me there. “But on one condition.”
“What is it?” He asked.
“Take off that shirt.” I ordered, pointing to his brown buttoned up shirt which had some weird pattern on it. He was planning on wearing it tonight.
He smirked down at me. “Already trying to get me naked?”
“No. The shirt is hideous.” I said with a serious face. He narrowed his eyes at me in mock anger.
“And you think I’m the bully.” He said and pushed himself off of me. He walked away over to his dresser. “Oh and F.Y.I, that was a really gay thing to say.”
“Sorry, I’ll try and act straighter, but that’s just means you won’t be getting any.” I said and threw his pillow at the back of his head. He ignored it and took off his shirt, turning back to me.
“Your loss.” He said, looking down at himself. My eyes raked over his small but muscular, perfect body. I groaned and lay back down on the bed, staring at the ceiling. That bastard is making me all sexually frustrated. I briefly considered asking him if we could just stay here together, but he seemed genuinely excited about hanging out with his friends and drinking. Another thought randomly popped into my head.
“I have no clothes.” I told him.
“I got you covered.” He said and threw a plain white, button-down, long sleeved shirt at me. “Just wear that. Your jeans and toms are fine.” He said.
I shrugged and took off my shirt, replacing it with Vic’s. I stood up, straightening out the clothes and looked down at myself. I guess I don’t look half bad. Vic came over to me, still shirtless, and unbuttoned the top button.
“That’s better.” He said, glancing down at my open shirt. “A bit of skin is always good.” He kissed my chest lightly before going back over to the dresser. Okay, he really needs to stop doing things like that. My skin felt hot all over just from our previous encounter.
“I’ll be with the others.” I said and he just nodded. I left his room and walked straight across to Mike’s open door. The three of them were sitting there playing his Xbox.
“Hi.” I greeted them and took a seat on the bed next to Mike. Jaime and Tony were sitting on the floor in front of us.
“Hey dude. Done being all homo in there?” Jaime asked. Tony reached over and slapped the back of his head and muttered ‘idiot’. I ignored his question.
“I was kidding.” Jaime said and pushed Tony, making him screw up on the game.
“Not fair, start over.” Tony said and they started the car racing game over again. The two of them were both so into the game, so I talked to Mike.
“So, uh, have you ever been to one of these clubs or whatever?” I asked him.
“Yeah a few times. You’ll be fine, don’t worry. Just make sure you stick with us.” He said. He was so casual about it so I guess it can’t be that bad, right? No, it won’t be bad. It’ll be fun. A fun night with my boyfriend and his friends.
“Hey losers, ready?” Vic appeared at the door. He was now wearing a different shirt. It was a plain black button-up one with short sleeves. He too was wearing black jeans like me, but with a pair of black converse instead. He looked…hot. Button-up shirts really suit him.
We all went in Jaime’s car because it was more spacious. On the drive there I found out that Mike, Jaime and Tony are total partiers and will probably be out partying until the early hours of the morning. Vic assured me we’d end up leaving early because I’m not that much of a partier. I felt bad about it at first until he whispered in my ear that he just wanted to get me back to the hotel room. It was actually really exciting because we were going to be in a hotel room by ourselves with no parental supervision. Just because I don’t want sex, doesn’t mean other stuff won’t happen. The others have a hotel room too in the same building, but it’s a different one to ours.
It didn’t take us very long to get into the city and find a good parking space. The five of us got out and walked the streets towards the club, making small talk. I learnt that Jaime’s parents are supposedly really rich so he’s throwing his money around tonight and shouting us all drinks, not that I’ll be drinking much anyway.
We got to the club which was their favorite one. It was just called Club K. That’s it. I have no idea what the K stands for though. Maybe it’s the first letter of the person who owns it? I’m not sure. I was a nervous wreck showing the bouncer my I.D, but when he greeted the others with friendly hellos and hugs, I figured they all knew each other so it was easy for us to get in. When we walked in they were playing some dubstep remix of a pop song I have heard on the radio before, I think from LMFAO. I don’t really pay attention to the radio to know.
I was standing there towards the entrance trying to take it all in. First of all, it was kind of cold, but not too cold. Just a nice cold. Straight in front of us was a long bar with a couple of bartenders and not many people there. Straight out from the bar was a hardwood dance floor where there were people dancing, but not too many people, just a good amount. The floor was covered in smoke from a smoke machine and there were flashing lights everywhere.
“Cool, huh?” Vic asked in my ear. I just nodded and smiled. He took my hand and led me over to the others who were at the bar already. He sat on the stool next to Jaime and I sat next to him.
“Two rounds of Tequila for me and my boys.” Jaime said to the female bartender. The bartender turned and looked at him before smiling.
“Hey Hime-Time. This rounds on me.” She said with a wink and went to get the drinks. We all looked at Jaime with raised eyebrows.
“What can I say? The ladies love me.” He said with a shrug.
Vic spun around to me, putting his arm around my waist and pulled me and the stool closer. He’s being really touchy feely, you know, for being in public. He must have read my thoughts.
“It’s okay. No one from school will be here and if anyone else has a problem I’ll deal with them.” He said. He leant in closer to me and kissed me as if to prove a point. Oh wow, our first kiss around people other than our friends. He pulled back with a smile on his face. “Are you going to drink with us tonight?”
“Maybe a little.” I said.
How many shots had I had? I don’t know. Too many to count on two hands though. How many had Vic had? Probably more. I looked at myself in the mirror in the club’s bathroom. I came in here to get a minutes silence just to take in how drunk I really was. And how drunk was I? Drunk enough for my vision to be totally blurry and I had to hold onto the bench to keep me upright. I saw Vic’s fuzzy form come up behind me and wrap his arms around me.
“Found you.” He whispered, kissing my shoulder, although I barely felt it because I felt so numb from the alcohol. I giggled at the touch anyway and turned around.
“You’re blurry.” I said and laughed. I couldn’t stop giggling.
“You’re drunk.” He said.
“I, um, I think we deed to nance!” I proclaimed.
“You mean need to dance?” He asked. I gave him a confused look.
“Yes, yes need to dance, that’s what I said.” I said with a frown. Blurry Vic smiled at me and chuckled.
“No you said-”
“Shush!” I said and put my finger over his lips. “Shushushush shh. Quiet.”
He bit my finger lightly and I pulled it away. “Oww” I saw even though it didn’t hurt.
“Oh baby, I’m sorry. Maybe we should go back to the hotel and I can make you feel all better?” He suggested seductively. I pushed him away from me.
“Psh, no. We’re going to dance.” I said and went to walk, but I ended up just colliding with Vic. The idiot couldn’t keep us up though and we both fell to the ground, me landing on top of him.
“What did you run into me for?” I snapped.
“You ran into- oh never mind. Come on, let’s dance.” He said, pushing me away. It took us a minute to get up, but we did and I walked out of the bathroom, followed by Vic who had one of his arms around me, keeping me steady even though he was the clumsy one! We went out onto the dance floor. Jaime, Mike and Tony weren’t here anymore because they had moved on to a different club.
I turned to Vic when we were on the dance floor and pulled him to me. He put his hands on my hips and my hands went to his chest and shoulders, holding them. We danced together, which let’s face it, was just swaying and grinding together to the music. The air conditioning didn’t seem to work on us anymore and we were sweating. We were so close our noses were brushing together and I could feel his breath on mine. I didn’t hesitate in pressing my lips to his. Oh god, I’m so wasted. I didn’t even care that we were making out on the middle of the dance floor, surrounded by people. I was so fucking turned on because of him though. He stopped kissing me and I whimpered in protest.
“Let’s go to the hotel.” He said and I nodded eagerly without thinking about it.
After that I couldn’t remember a whole lot. I remember having, like, 3 more shots before we left and I guess I can remember getting lost on the way to the hotel, making out with him in the elevator and then being slammed against one of the hotel room walls before being thrown onto the bed. From then, all I could remember was our clothes being tossed to the ground and the tear of a condom wrapper.
